Streetview@Harlingen

Another vast piece of land, with units of buildings sparingly along the main road, hm... the highway? Glad that the hotel is located in one of those areas that are 'surrounded' by some eating places... oh yes, walk is inevitable... oh yes, we had no choice but to drag our feet to walk under the hot sun...

Leaving Valley International Airport...

The feel is very resort-like...

Here's the cross section of the ROAD,
which we learnt to read the traffic signals for the cars in order to cross the road.

Oh - the "White Man" button were removed from the traffic lights. They were not working.
Guess, it's because there's hardly any human beings walking on the road; so, it's why the primary purpose of the traffic lights is for the vehicles.

See the complicated sets of traffic lights to direct the vehicles?

There were 6 lanes in this road... that reminded me of the highway just outside RECSAM. However, it's definitely much easier to cross the road in Halingen than Penang!

 Gigantic billboards are common!

Taking a taxi from Halingen will mean... to some extent, the taxi rates are regulated; however, it's not necessary the case when demand is greater than supply.
I believe, it is one of those few places with irregular Uber services.
